I have always used a manual wheelchair, and for the most part it has served me very well, enabling me to move around the house without trouble, and even to get out into the garden and patio when I feel like it, something which I love when the weather is very nice. However, I began to feel that I would like to move further away from the house sometimes, without having to rely on my husband or relatives to help push to wheelchair. It was because of this as I looked into the possibility of buying one of those Electric Mobility Scooters, which have a good reputation for being easy to use and increasing mobility. I must admit that I thought they were quite expensive, but I went ahead and bought one anyway, and now I am glad that I did, because it has enabled me to move out of the house and move farther afield than I would ever have been able to do by using a manual wheelchair.
